THE second round of Qatar Superstock 600 Championship (QSTK) and Qatar Touring Car Championship (QTCC) will be held at the Losail International Circuit (LIC) on Saturday.
The free practice and qualifying rounds will be on Friday. Mishal Al Naimi had won both races in the opening round of QSTK held recently while Abdullah Al Khelaifi reigned supreme in QTCC.
Both championships have seen an influx of young Qatari competitors trying to prove their mettle at the top level.
The QSTK, featuring two races, are run over 12 laps while QTCC is a 10-lap one-race affair. The remaining rounds will be held on March 25, April 8 and May 5.
The next round, scheduled a day before the FIM MotoGP season opener, will be held under lights while the rest have 11am starts.
